Press Release on the Progress of Rescue Operations in the Strictly Abandoned Village of Tersin

Rescue teams continue their tireless work under the leadership of Mr. Mojereb Al-Rahman Al-Zubair, the chairman of the Civilian Authority in the Liberated Territories, the Native Administrations, notables, the Emergency Committees in Jebel Marra, and the people from neighboring villages who responded to the call of duty.
A short interview was also recorded with a resident of Tersin village who survived the disaster. There are also statements from the Chairman of the Civilian Authority in the Liberated Territories, some Native Administrations, and the Emergency Committees, in which they explained the disaster, the number of dead and bodies found and buried, and the catastrophic humanitarian situation, which requires urgent international intervention to provide food, drink, and shelter to citizens who have lost everything.
It is worth noting that the stricken village of Tersin is located in a deep ravine in the middle of Jebel Marra, on fragile volcanic soil that facilitates landslides after being saturated with water during heavy rains. The village extends over vast distances across the ranges and ravines in the middle of Jebel Marra.
Attached to the statement are videos of the speakers: The Chairman of the civil authority in the liberated territories, the native administrations, the emergency committees, and a survivor, as well as footage of the destruction caused by the landslide.
