Press Release Sudanese Declaration of Principles Forces Convene with Diplomatic Missions and International Organizations in Nairobi

On the evening of Friday, 4 September 2026, at the invitation and under the facilitation of the esteemed Royal Norwegian Embassy in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, a delegation of Sudanese Declaration of Principles Forces (SDoPFs) met with representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations. The constructive deliberations addressed the dire humanitarian catastrophe; the Forces’ comprehensive vision for halting the ongoing war and the associated roadmap for its definitive cessation, the joint position reached and proclaimed by the anti-war forces in Addis Ababa on 23 August 2026; and the stance regarding the Quintet, including the expectations vested in it, as well as the obligations incumbent upon the regional and international community.
The delegation of the Sudanese Declaration of Principles Forces responded comprehensively and substantively to the questions and inquires put to them by representatives of the European Union, Norway, the United States of America, and the Netherlands, as well as by representatives of international organizations.
meetings and concerted efforts will continue to be pursued with all regional and international stakeholders, with the objective of bringing an expeditious end to the war and realizing a just, sustainable and lasting peace in Sudan.
