Statement regarding the convening of the second meetings of the executive Council of SLM/A- AW

The Sudan Liberation Movement/Army held a workshop in Entebbe, Uganda between 25th – 30th of May, 2025, directing efforts towards the humanitarian and political issues, the workshop brought together distinguished figures from the movement including the chairman of the movement, comrade Abdul Wahid Mohammed Ahmed Al Nour, The Vice chairman of the Movement major general, Abdella Haran Adam Ahmed , members of the supreme leadership council , the revolutionary liberation council and the executive council of the movement.
Upon the successful conclusion of the workshop proceedings both the chairman and deputy chairman of the movement addressed the comrades who participated in this vital event, however; their remarks covered various organizational and national issues and gave the participants comprehensive briefing on the efforts, which was made by the leadership of the movement, regarding the initiative to form the largest civilian front, to stop and end the war, they also urged comrades to redouble efforts to promote organizational performance, focusing on humanitarian issues as a matter of priority, which affects millions of Sudanese people, notably in areas under the movement’s control.
Moreover; the top leaders of the movement reaffirmed the critical need to maximize all efforts to stop and end the war, through cooperation and coordination with all those who believe in this noble objective, underscoring the imperative of forming the largest civilian front to end the war, that excludes merely the National Congress Party and its affiliates or those who reject the imitative by choice.
As the workshop drew to a close on 30th of May 2025, the deputy chairman of the movement, comrade Abdalla Haran Adam, engaged separately in – depth consultations with the revolutionary liberation council and the executive council, which followed by talks with sector officials, and then individual meetings with each of the four sectors.
Consequently, all these meetings tackled organizational matters, the realized achievements and successes during the previous period, as well as the setbacks and challenges encountered by the sectors, the meetings wrapped up with a set of actionable and significant recommendations that are expected to positively impact organizational performance in the imminent period.
