April 2025 – Kampala
The Sudanese Group for the Defence of Freedom and Rights is organizing a Cultural Week in Kampala in April 2025, bringing together Sudanese, African, and Arab intellectuals, alongside members of Sudanese civil and political communities and scholars from neighboring countries.
The event will feature prominent figures, including:
Dr. Nabeel Abdel Fattah, an Egyptian thinker, who will present a discussion on “Relations Between Sub-Saharan Africa and North Africa: Shared and Conflicting Perspectives.”
Dr. Diu Matouk Diing Wol, a distinguished South Sudanese politician, who will participate in a forum exploring his book, “The Story of Joseph’s Execution.”
Book Exhibition
A key highlight of the week will be the book exhibition, showcasing a range of new publications and literary works. Featured authors include:
